System description

The mechanical and electrical design of our system of today is the result of long experience in the construction, manufacture and installation of this type of equipment. Over the years we have closely studied the function of the systems and in cooperation with users we have added safety features and functions, both mechanical and electrical, in order to achieve equipment that works well and is easy to use. This guarantees that the equipment installed will work well year after year. Some of the first equipment installed 20 years ago is still in operation.

Mechanical design
Our standard lance drive mechanism has relatively small overall dimensions and low weight compared to other systems. This is important when a furnace installation, for example, is to be upgraded by the installation of a sampling system.

Available space around the furnace is very often limited and adding too much weight to existing structures can in some cases require reinforcement work.

Another important and often forgotten part when designing is maintenance. All machines sooner or later needs repair. We have equipped our system with easy detachable hoods and covers for smooth and quick access to chains, wheels, motors etc. A unique quick coupling has been developed for connecting the lances to the lance holders, which makes it possible for only one person to change a lance easily without any help from maintenance personnel.
