What we do

Provac is a company that works mainly with sampling and temperature measurement equipment for steel plants around the world. The equipment is used during steel production to control the chemical composition, temperature and oxygen content in molten iron or steel. It is based on a standard lance drive mechanism for immersing expendable measuring probes into the hot metal. Even if the actual lance drive mechanism is standardized, the attachments, electrical and computer equipment and the customers demands can be totally different from one installation to another, it takes a great deal of engineering to implement the system into the customers production plant.

We have many years of experience working with this type of equipment worldwide and we can take care of the complete installation as a turnkey project or in close cooperation with the customer.

The company is located in a modern building with office and a complete workshop for production of sampling systems, other machinery, electric equipment and spare parts.

Several of our customers are located 1 - 2 hours away from our office and we have a close cooperation with the nearest steel plants in working with new products and methods.
