The sensor

The secret behind the superiority or Provac sampling equipment is a small patented electromagnetic sensor built into the lance. The sensor is protectively enclosed inside the steel lance and covered during operation by the probe’s cardboard sleeve.

Almost any brand of probe can be used together with our sampling equipment and the lances are manufactured to fit the desired probes.

Since both lances are equipped with this sensor technique they can work totally independently of each other. The result of this method of positioning is slag-free and solid samples, correct temperature measurements, and more reliable statistics.
